About Us
Most woodworking sites hand you a project list scraped from Pinterest and call it a day. Crafted Wood Creations exists because we actually build the projects, sell them at craft fairs, and track what moves.
This site focuses on small builds — cutting boards, gift boxes, holiday decorations, toys, and weekend projects that you can finish in a few hours and sell for real money. Every project plan includes a materials cost breakdown, estimated build time, and where applicable, actual sales data from craft fairs and online marketplaces.
We know what sells because we stand behind the table. A chatbot can generate a list of “easy woodworking projects,” but it cannot tell you that a walnut end-grain cutting board outsells a maple edge-grain board 3-to-1 at a Saturday market, or that painted birdhouses move in April but sit untouched in July.
Our plans include measured drawings, cut lists, and tool recommendations for beginners. If a project calls for a table saw, we tell you. If you can get away with a miter saw and a sander, we tell you that too. No gatekeeping, no assumptions about your shop.
Every project on this site has been built, photographed, and tested in the shop. We do not publish plans we have not completed ourselves. If a joint is tricky or a finish needs extra dry time, you will read about it here before you waste material finding out on your own.
AI can generate project ideas all day. It cannot sand a board, price lumber at your local yard, or tell you which finish holds up after six months of kitchen use. That is what we do.
